Amarillo

Friday, the choir and band went to Amarillo to compete in the Greater Southwest Music Festival. In this competition, the highest score you can get is an "O" or Outstanding, which our choir did! So after getting our trophy, we all headed to Wonderland, a small amusement park which is a little closer to a standing fair with bigger rides than an actual amusement park. My friends and I hit a lot of rides and had a lot of fun! We also got to miss the whole day of school for this trip, which makes it all the better. Other than not getting home until 11:30 at night, I had a good time. I am really glad that I got to go on this trip and that we were able to get an Outstanding!
